Hello, Singapore! It’s been a while since I was last here! We had a lot of long weekends in the Philippines this August 2017 (yay to that) so I decided to spend 1 of them in the Lion City to visit my good friend, Kate, who recently moved to SG for work.Wanted to treat her to a memorable staycation and where to better spend it than in the award winning Conrad Centennial Singapore.Immediately felt the hotel’s luxurious sense and style upon setting foot in their lobby as I was welcomed by these modern contemporary Asian furniture and accents.I was super early for check-in (arrived at 7am in the hotel) so I proceeded first to the 31st floor, Executive Lounge, to have my breakfast. The lounge is available for guests staying in executive floors and/or in suites. Here, guests are treated to breakfast, afternoon tea, evening cocktails with hors d’oeuvres, and all-day drinks.Best part? Having this panoramic view of the city while eating.Good breakfast is definitely a must.Did I mention that Conrad is conveniently located in Marina Bay? That’s 16 minutes from the Changi Airport, walking distance to business & financial districts, super near to attraction areas such as Gardens by the Bay and National Gallery Singapore and…. it’s connected to 6 shopping malls! Isn’t that AMAZING?Time to check-out our room! The hotel is currently undergoing renovations (ongoing from June 2017-January 2018) but I’m lucky that I got to stay in one of their newly refurbished Deluxe King Rooms! This 40 square meter room is really spacious.Love how they were able to modernize the hotel rooms. Clean, sleek, minimalist- just how I like it!Greeted by this little cute Conrad doll. Hello there! One note-worthy service that Conrad offers is their daily turndowns.Another cool thing I experienced during this stay is the digital key feature. I’m sure this is not a super new innovation but at least for me, this was the first time I personally experienced this technology! No need to worry about losing your room keys anymore as accessing rooms is now made friendlier via a Digital Key via mobile device (you just need to download the Hilton Honors App.)Always appreciate personalized welcome notes. One important hotel feature that I always look for- built-in universal power sockets and USB ports. Because even after traveling for how many times now, I still forget about my universal adapters (hehe). If you’re wondering what other amenities does the hotel have… Well, they got a lot! First up is the pool. Isn’t it refreshing to swim here with the Singapore Flyer as your view? There’s also an indoor lounge beside the pool where guests can dine and relax. They’ve got a 24-hour fitness center too that offers a range of beauty treatments and body massages. But of course… dining options are important! This is the Lobby Lounge, a perfect place for weekday lunches, afternoon tea or weekend high tea buffet. By night, the Lobby Lounge transforms into a picture of elegance and luxury with live music and cocktails. This place is actually famous for its Gin Experience- with premium gins paired with the finest craft tonics from East Imperial, unique bitters from Fee Brothers, and over thirty garnishes are offered for the gin & tonic. While this is the Terrace which offers a quick bite on-the-go or alfresco dining with artisan sandwiches, signature pastries, cookies, cakes, gourmet coffee and teas.
