I’ve been hearing about ONEDAY from my friends who have been to Bangkok before so I was curious to see what this place has to offer and why everyone has been talking about it.
True enough, it was love at first sight.
This is the reception area where the staff warmly welcomes and checks guests in. They also brief you properly with everything you need to know about the hostel’s rules and regulations.
After check-in, I went around to explore the compound. I can’t contain my excitement! Every corner of OneDay’s so photo-worthy! This is the common area where guests can chill and hang out. It’s so nice of OneDay to even provide lots of reading materials to make sure guests don’t get bored.
This is the kitchen + dining area where guests can prepare and eat their food. This area also serves as the Yoga center every Sunday morning (Yes, they offer FREE yoga classes every week. I actually joined one when I stayed there and it was a very refreshing experience!)
Now, let’s go up to the second floor where all the rooms are. Shoes are only up to this point (thus the lockers) to ensure the floor area stays as clean as possible.
Cute way of labelling the restrooms!
This is the ladies’ bathroom. I love how they’re very consistent with their aesthetics. So impressive!
Usually for other establishments, public areas’ designs are the only ones prioritized (and they forget about how important it is to have beautiful bathrooms too).
For some reasons, the setup reminded me of the bathroom in the movie Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Don’t get me wrong- it was not freaky at all here. It was truly BEAUTIFUL!.
They have different types of rooms to match the varying needs of guests.
Here’s the 8-bed mixed dorm furnished with custom-made furniture.
If you’re traveling with a friend and prefer to have a room on your own, here’s a Private Twin Bunk Room for you! Super good deal at 1000 Baht to secure the whole area.
Need more privacy? Then here’s a private room that resembles that of a hotel for you. The room, like the rest of the compound, is beautifully designed with well curated vintage furniture pieces.
After resting, relaxing, and taking a PAUSE in the hostel, you can also take a step FORWARD and work to make things happen in OneDay’s co-working space!
BEAUTIFUL interiors, high speed internet, ergonomic furniture- perfect space for freelancers and/or travelers who need utmost concentration to get things done.
They also have conference rooms upstairs if you need to hold meetings.
Good morning BKK! You can opt to get the room with breakfast upon reserving. Look at that yummy spread from ONEDAY AT A TIME RESTAURANT– egg, sausage, bacon, and bread. To complete my meal, I ordered coffee + orange cheesecake from their partner cafe- CASA LAPIN COFFEESHOP (they have discounts for guests!!!)
