In English, PIECES means parts of things while in Thai, it’s a homonym to the word “Pi-ces”, which means “special.”
This charming cafe and bed is owned by Meow (pictured above), whom I had the pleasure to meet and interact with!
Basically, her cafe is open “sometimes,” depending on her schedule. I wouldn’t blame her- she’s quite busy juggling different hats! She’s a freelance designer, owns a bnb, and runs her cafe and a bar.
I had a lovely time talking to her and her friend (who owns a cafe/bnb as well nearby). It was so inspiring to hear their entrep stories and to discover that we share common passions: cafe + design + hotels! Bonus: their business area all in this neighborhood called
Now, let’s check out the room!
This building is actually a 100-year old establishment that was preserved well over the years.
It’s located near Chinatown and Chao Phraya River and is designed with vintage details, all over!
It’s quite spacious, actually. Perfect for 1-2 people staying over.
Room names are named after the owner’s cats (the other, being called Y.Y).
“PIECES is everything that combines together. From shop structures to raw materials and ingredients in which were carefully selected in each and every step. Juxtaposing everything to make a perfect combination. All pieces here are important and always special.”
Bathroom is shared but there are 2 only rooms anyway, so shouldn’t be a big problem!
This sign though 🙂
