Zara Tower | Sydney, Australia

April 1, 2018

Located right in the middle of the Sydney Central Business District is this lovely establishment that serves as both a hotel (for short term guests) and a serviced apartment (for long term guests.)Less than 5 minutes away from the Museum Train Station, the building is also located near Surry Hills and Oxford Street- making it super walkable to various restaurants, bars, and cafes! This is the lobby upon setting foot in the building. Let’s check out the room I stayed in during my first 2 nights in Sydney!Welcome to my room! I stayed in their Luxury SoHo Suite for my trip and the room was way above my expectations! To the right of the room’s main entrance is the “prep” area- restroom and a vanity table.Perfect restroom size- just enough for me to move around. Now, let’s see the rest of the room…  The whole room was designed with polished concrete floors, accompanied by mood lightning- delivering a perfect modern industrial feel to guests.Fully functional kitchen with complete stainless kitchen tools and utensils.Beside it is a resting area- can be for guests or for you when you need to take a bit time off when prepping because…right beside it is the elegantly designed walk-in closet! On the opposite side of the closet is the sleeping area. Loved my massive King bed. I had it all to myself 😉In front of my bed was this view- a “living area” where an elegant leather sofa is strategically placed for enjoyable TV viewing + day bed if you want to enjoy the Sydney skyline by the window. By the way, they have high-speed Netflix and Youtube streaming directly in the room TV! So yes, I might have slept very late during my stay there because of binge watching! You think I’m done with the room tour? You got it wrong! The place was really huge, there are  more areas I need to show you!Presenting the dining and work areas. I love how the room has a dedicated space for working. They could have just settled with the dining table to serve as both dining and working table but they didn’t! They respect and understand that working people need to have an area where they can zone out and I love how they put it in the least distracting corner of the room.A panoramic view of my room. Definitely enjoyed my stay here! If it wasn’t my 1st time in Sydney, no doubt, I would have done at least 1 day staycation here!
